I like your take on the fight even better than the original.
My other favorite part … The John Locke/Benjamin Linus comedy duo.
John: “Can I ask you a question?”
Ben: “I’m a Pisces.”
I agree! That line cracked me up. Honestly, the whole two hours were just totally crazy entertaining.
And w/r/t the above awesomeness – it’s like, when they were writing the episode, they asked me what I wanted to see most of all.
“A full history of the giant statue?”
“The smoke monster, taken apart and explained?”
“Juliet runs Kate over with the magic bus?”
“Tempting, but no.”
“Then what? What do you want to see?”
“Sawyer kicks Jack in the nuts. Really hard.”
haaaaa ha ha ha
Arami from Blue Rabbit here. I’ve really been enjoying your blog lately (p.s- thanks for super awesome review btw!) esp. when you admit to updating your blog while subtituting, and of course, admit whole-heartedly to your lost fanatisism…HELLO ME TOO! I finally watched the season finale this weekend, and enjoyed it soooo much (esp. the last scene with juliet sobbing and crying out in desperation as she whacks the hell out of the bomb) as I’ve been a fan for quite a while. Are you serious about having correspondence with the writers of the show? I would DIE! This show has encourage my interest in screenwriting…the writing is so damn good! Anyway, just had to write you comment to say hello. Sorry for the rambling! Can’t wait to play an awesome show with you in Sept.!
Thanks, Arami! And I know, how great was this episode? I had some serious complaints about the show in season 3 (my sister and I actually stopped watching for a while), but they turned it around so hard, I’d say that this most recent season was easily the best in the show’s run.
And I WISH I were actually in touch with the writers… though I actually do think there was a conversation during which someone said, “…and then Jack gets kicked in the balls.” And everyone else said, “Yeah, it’s time. Let’s do it.”
So awesome. Haaaa….
Our September show together is going to be super great. I can’t wait – rock!
